Abstract
본 발명은 신뢰성과 안정성을 향상시키는 쿼지 바이폴라 구조를 갖는 전기화학셀을 제공하는 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 전기화학셀은, 양극전극과 음극전극을 포함하는 전극조립체, 상기 전극조립체에서 열화 발생이 가능한 소정 극성을 가지는 전극에 마주보도록 배치된 보조전극 및 상기 보조전극과 상기 소정 극성과 반대되는 극성을 가지는 전극을 전기적으로 연결하는 전기적 연결수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 열화를 방지할 수 있어 전기화학셀의 신뢰성과 안전성이 향상되며 제조가 용이해지는 효과가 있다.
