ここで、EMM機能は、上述の圏内通知の受信によって、Reconnectタイマが満了する前に、LTE-AS機能が圏内であることを検知しているため、ステップS2009において、LTE-AS機能に対して、「Service Request(サービス要求)」を送信する。
本発明の第1の実施形態に係る移動通信システムによれば、EMM機能は、RRCコネクションがアイドル状態になった場合には、LTE-AS機能からの圏内通知及びRecconect要求の受信を契機に、Service Requestを送信することによって、RRCコネクションがアイドル状態になった後に切断されずに残っているS1コネクションを解放することができる。

Claims (2)
- 移動局が、第1プロトコル機能及び第2プロトコル機能を用いて、該移動局と無線基地局との間の第1コネクション及び該無線基地局と交換局との間の第2コネクションを介して通信を行う移動通信方法であって、
前記第1プロトコル機能は、前記無線基地局との間で終端する第1プロトコルに対応する処理を行い、
前記第2プロトコル機能は、該第1プロトコルの上位のプロトコルであり、前記移動局と交換局との間で終端する第2プロトコルに対応する処理を行い、
前記第1プロトコル機能が、前記第1コネクションがアイドル状態になったことを検知した場合に、前記第2プロトコル機能に対して、再接続要求を送信する工程と、
前記第2プロトコル機能が、前記再接続要求を受信した場合で、かつ、前記第1プロトコル機能が圏内であることを検知した場合に、サービス要求を送信する工程とを有することを特徴とする移動通信方法。 - 第1プロトコル機能及び第2プロトコル機能を用いて、無線基地局との間の第1コネクション及び該無線基地局と交換局との間の第2コネクションを介して通信を行うように構成されている移動局であって、
