Abstract

La présente invention concerne une machine à envelopper servant à envelopper un produit au moyen d'une bande faite d'au moins deux films étirables. La machine à envelopper comprend un distributeur permettant de débiter au moins deux films étirables en chevauchement longitudinal. Chacun des deux films étirables considérés présente un bord de film dans le sens de la longueur. La machine à envelopper comprend, d'une part un passe-cordon servant à mettre en mettre en cordon les bords de film des deux films étirables considérés, d'autre part une étireuse servant à étirer, après la mise en cordon, les deux films étirables considérés, et enfin une structure de châssis sur laquelle sont disposés le distributeur, le passe-cordon, et l'étireuse de façon à débiter la bande devant venir envelopper le produit.
