Abstract
This invention is about cleaning equipment for automobile tires that is attached to a side of the tire wheelhouse and removes the dirt from the tire using the friction between the side of the tire and the rubber. This device is invented in order to solve the preexisting problems and is composed of three parts: fixation bracket (10), which comprises supporting part (12) which forms fitting compartment (1 l)so that the device can be attached and detached from the automobile, rotating compartment (20), which is constructed on a side of foregoing fixation bracket (10) and is built so as to enable the rotation of cleaning device (30), and cleaning device (30), which is connected to a side of foregoing rotating compartment (20) and comprises rubber part (33). This general structure enables the adjustment of the angle of the cleaning device such that the tire and the cleaning device can be kept close to the tire. This invention has several advantages including the fact that the driver of the automobiles does not have to clean its tires every time the tires have dirt or contaminants, the fact that no tire washing devices are needed, the fact that the drivers do not have to go through trouble cleaning the tire themselves nor have to spend time whilst at it, and the fact that the cleaning process can take place while the automobile is in motion without damaging the automobile. In addition, this invention always maintain clean tires due to its efficient method of removing contaminants by controlling the angle of the cleaning device by enabling the rotation of the cleaning device to accommodate the shapes and sizes of different kinds of tires so that the tire and the cleaning device are kept close together.
Description
This invention is about a cleaning device for automobile tires that is attached to a side of the tire wheelhouse and by being constantly repeating detachment and attachment to the tire and removes the contaminants from the tire using the friction between the sides of the tire and the rubber.
Generally, because the tires of tan automobile is a part where it is directly exposed to the road surface, they are subject to constant contamination, and especially when the automobile is being operated on the surface of an unpaved road, the dirt on the tires may be contaminated by materials that do not easily fall off the tires which results the driver having to do the chore of cleaning the tires oneself.
In order to relieve this above inconvenience, a method of cleaning the tires while traveling by attaching a cleaning device to a side of the automobile using bolt or piece has been suggested.
The above cleaning devices for automobile tires uses the method of attaching to the automobile using bolts and pieces which has to penetrate the automobile itself and hence not only was it troublesome but also it had a problem of damaging the automobile.
This invention is design in order to solve this preexisting problem. It comprises three main parts: fixation bracket (10), rotating compartment (20), and cleaning device (30). Fixation bracket (10) has supporting part (12) which forms fitting compartment (11)that can be attached and detached from a side of the automobile. rotating compartment (20) of the structure of rotating hinge union is formed on a side of fixation bracket (10). Cleaning device (30) comprises rubber part (33) and can be connecting to a side of foregoing rotating compartment (20) by connecting loop (31). This design enables this device to be adhered closely to the tire, hence resulting in easy and effective tire cleaning.
With this invention of the above structure, the driver neither has to clean the tires whenever it is contaminated, need any equipments such as washing devices, set aside time for cleaning the tires, nor put effort into tire cleaning. Moreover, this cleaning device can be attached and detached from the automobile very easily and it can clean the tires whilst the automobile is in motion without causing any damage to the automobile.
In addition, by enabling the cleaning device to be rotated to control the angle of the cleaning device in order for it to be kept close to the tire, this invention can effectively remove the contaminants of the tires and maintain clean tires at all times.

This invention is about a cleaning device for automobile tires that is attached to a side of the tire wheelhouse and, removes the contaminants from the tire using the friction between the sides of the tire and the rubber caused by constant repetition of attachment and detachment from the tire.
The features, compartments, and advantages of the foregoing device will become more apparent with the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in which:
Fig.1 and Fig.2 represents the principle perspective view of the device separated into different parts. Fig.3 and Fig.4 represents the device united into one body. Fig.5 and Fig.6 is a sectioned diagram that illustrates the operational relationship in case of its execution. Fig.7 and Fig.8 represents the state of usage of the invention at its first execution.
As illustrated above, the tire cleaning device according to this invention is attached on a side of the tire. It is composed of three main parts: fixation bracket (10), rotating compartment (20), and cleaning device (30). fixation bracket (10) gets fixated on one side of the automobile. Rotating compartment (20) is constructed on a side of fixation bracket (10) and has a hinge union structure which can be assembled. Cleaning device (30) comprises rubber part (33). This design enables this device to be adhered closely to the tire, hence resulting in easy and effective tire cleaning.
First of all, fixation bracket (10) is constructed on a side of the automobile, in particular, on a side of the tire wheelhouse (A). supporting part (12), which forms fitting compartment (11)so that it can be fitted with a part of the automobile, is connecting to body (21) of ‘ㄷ’ shape. supporting part (12) that penetrate a side of bracket and bolt (13) are prepared such that bolt (13) is fitted into penetrating circle (21c) on the body of the rotating compartment (20), hence uniting with rotating compartment (20).
Rotating compartment (20) is united with one side of fixation bracket (10) and is connecting to cleaning device (30) on the other side, thus enabling cleaning device (30) to revolve. According to the case of the first execution of this invention, the rotating compartment (20) comprises body (21) which has long circle (21a) into which the long bolt (23) is inserted and rotating area (22) which comprises passing circle (22b) of which two ends are bent and passing circle (22b) are formed on each of its bent end.
Body (21) has one or more of penetrating circle (21c) such that it is connecting with one side of fixation bracket (10). In its middle, long circle (21a) I formed where fitting groove (21b) are formed on the upper and lower sides, such that bent compartment (22a) of both ends of rotating area (22) can be fitted into them. In the middle of a side of rotating area (22), union circle (22c) is formed which links to cleaning device (30).
On the other hand, a look at rotating compartment (20) according to the case of another execution of this invention indicates that the rotating compartment (20) is composed of two parts: body (24), and ball reception (25). On the one side of body (24), there exists hinge ball (24a) and one or more of union grooves (24b), which enable the union with fixation bracket (10), are formed. ball reception (25) is structured so that hinge ball (24a) can be fitted into it hence uniting body (24) and ball reception (25).
Body (24) has union groove (24b) which bolt (13) penetrates. This bolt (13) also penetrates one side of fixation bracket (10) and its end is enclosed by fixation nut (14a), hence uniting body (24) with fixation bracket (10). Hinge ball (24a) is fitted into ball reception (25) in such a way that enables hinge ball (24a) may be rotated inside ball reception (25). On the middle of one side of ball reception (25), union circle (25a) is formed so as to unite ball reception (25) with cleaning device (30).
Lastly, cleaning device (30) ultimately cleans the contaminants of the tires, and its structure is as follows. On its one side, connecting loop (31) is formed. connecting loop (31) contains a connecting loop (31) which is hooked to connecting loop (31)such that it can be attached and detached from the union circle (22c, 25a). It contains rubber part (33) and holder (32) which are united with each other. Hence, Rubber part (33) contacts the tires directly.
Rubber part (33) has either a long rectangular shape or it is separated into long thin pieces. The length of rubber part (33) may vary, depending on different kinds of tires, such that it is stretched from where it is link to the automobile to where it can touch a side of a tire.
In the case of first execution of this invention, bolt (13), which penetrates a side of fixation bracket (10) also penetrates penetrating circle (21c) on body (21) and its end is enclosed with fixation nut (14a), thus uniting fixation bracket (10) with rotating compartment (20).
Secondly, bent compartment (22a) of rotating area (22) is fitted into fitting groove (21b). long bolt (23) is inserted into long circle long circle (21a) of body (21) and its end is fixated to nut (23a). This unites rotating area (22) with body (21) to form a hinge union structure such that rotating area (22) can rotate about the axis of rotation in a fixed range.
Lastly, connecting loop (31), which is formed on one side of holder (32) which supports one side of rubber part (33), is linked to union circle (22c), which is formed on one side of rotating area (22), such that they are united. If refraction manufactured iron sheet of tire wheelhouse (A) is fitted between fitting compartment (11)and supporting part (12), and adjustment nut (14b) are loosened to move it towards supporting part (12), then supporting part (12) gets pushed back thus narrowing its distance with fitting compartment (11)hence resulting in secure placement inside the tire wheelhouse (A)
On the other hand, the case of another execution of this invention is as follows. One side of fixation bracket (10) is fitted into union groove (24b) on body (24), thereby uniting fixation bracket (10) with rotating compartment (20). hinge ball (24a) which is located on one side of body (24) is fitted into ball reception (25) such that hinge ball (24a) may revolve within a fixed range of angle inside ball reception (25).
After that, connecting loop (31), which is formed on one side of holder (32) which supports one side of rubber part (33), is linked to union circle (25a), which is on one side of ball reception (25), so that they are united. This completes the construction of this tire cleaning device invention. If refraction manufactured iron sheet of tire wheelhouse (A) is fitted between fitting compartment (11)and supporting part (12), and adjustment nut (14b) are loosened to move it towards supporting part (12), then supporting part (12) gets pushed back thus narrowing its distance with fitting compartment (11)hence resulting in secure placement inside the tire wheelhouse (A)
If an automobile, equipped with the tire cleaning device with structure as described above, starts operating, there are a lot of contacts between the rotating tire and the cleaning device (30), which is united by to the fixation bracket (10) which is fixated to the automobile. Through these contacts, dirt and contaminants attached on the tire are cleaned. The angle of rotating compartment (20) may be adjusted in order to control the area of contacts between the rotating tire and the cleaning device (30) in order to maximize the efficiency in cleaning the tire. This results in an effective tire cleaning.
Claims (3)
- As a cleaning device for tires, this device features the following:Supporting part (12) and fitting compartment (11)which are constructed such that they can be attached and detached from one side of tire wheelhouse (A). Bolt (13) and fixation nut (14a) are constructed such that they penetrate one side of supporting part (12) and be united with rotating compartment (20). Fixation bracket (10) is structured such that adjustment nut (14b) is united with bolt (13), thus enabling the adjustment of the location of supporting part (12).Rotating compartment (20) is constructed on a side of fixation bracket (10) in the structure of hinge union such that it can be assembled.Cleaning device (30) are constructed so that it is united with a side of rotating compartment (20) and comprise rubber part (33).
- A cleaning device according to claim 1, which features:Rotating compartment (20) is composed of body (21) and rotating area (22). Body (21) is in the shape of rectangular sheet and has a protrusion in the middle in the shape of a semi-cylinder. It has one or more of penetrating circle (21c) such that it can be united with one side of fixation bracket (10). On the upper and lower sides of body (21), fitting groove (21b)s are formed into which rotating area (22) are fitted. In the perpendicular direction to the protrusion, long circles (21a) are formed through which long bolt (23) can be placed.Rotating area (22) is bent in the shape of ‘ㄷ’ such that it is inserted into foregoing fitting groove (21b). In the middle of the rear of rotating area (22), 22c) is formed such that its union with cleaning device (30). On its bent upper and lower parts, passing circle (22b) are formed which long bolt (23) penetrate.
- A cleaning device according to claim 1, which features:Rotating compartment (20) is made up of body (24) and ball reception (25). Body (24) is in the shape of rectangular sheet and on one side it has hinge ball (24a) and also one or more of union groove (24b) which enables its union with fixation bracket (10).Ball reception (25) is in the shape of topless cylinder such that it can be united with hinge ball (24a). On the middle of its rear, union circle (25a), which enables the union with cleaning device (30), is formed.
