Abstract

This invention is about cleaning equipment for automobile tires that is attached to a side of the tire wheelhouse and removes the dirt from the tire using the friction between the side of the tire and the rubber. This device is invented in order to solve the preexisting problems and is composed of three parts: fixation device (10), which includes fitting compartment (11) that is attachable and detachable from the side of the automobile, rotating compartment (20) that enables the cleaning device (30) to rotate and is installed so that it is attachable and detachable from the upper fixation device (10), cleaning device (30) that includes the rubber part (33) and is connected to the rotating compartment (20) by connecting loop (31). Thus overall, the device is designed to enable the angle of the cleaning device in order to keep the tire and the cleaning device close together. This invention has several advantages including the fact that the driver of the automobiles does not have to clean its tires every time the tires have dirt or contaminants, the fact that no tire washing devices are needed, the fact that the drivers do not have to go through trouble cleaning the tire themselves nor have to spend time whilst at it, and the fact that the cleaning process can take place while the automobile is in motion without damaging the automobile. In addition, this invention always maintain clean tires due to its efficient method of removing contaminants by controlling the angle of the cleaning device by enabling the rotation of the cleaning device to accommodate the shapes and sizes of different kinds of tires so that the tire and the cleaning device are kept close together.

Description

CLEANING DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE TIRES
This invention is about a cleaning device for automobile tires that is attached to a side of the tire wheelhouse and by being constantly repeating detachment and attachment to the tire and removes the contaminants from the tire using the friction between the sides of the tire and the rubber.
Generally, because the tires of tan automobile is a part where it is directly exposed to the road surface, they are subject to constant contamination, and especially when the automobile is being operated on the surface of an unpaved road, the dirt on the tires may be contaminated by materials that do not easily fall off the tires which results the driver having to do the chore of cleaning the tires oneself.
In order to relieve this above inconvenience, a method of cleaning the tires while traveling by attaching a cleaning device to a side of the automobile using bolt or piece has been suggested.
The above cleaning devices for automobile tires uses the method of attaching to the automobile using bolts and pieces which has to penetrate the automobile itself and hence not only was it troublesome but also it had a problem of damaging the automobile.
This invention was invented in order to solve the above problem. This invention comprises of three large parts: fixation device (10), which has fitting compartment (11) that is attachable and detachable from a side of the automobile, rotating compartment (20), in the structure of hinge union that is attachable an detachable from the above fixation device (10), and the cleaning device (30), which is connected to a side of the rotating compartment (20) and includes the rubber part (33). This structure enables the controlling of the angle of the cleaning device in order for the tire and the cleaning device to be kept close together and hence enables an easy and effective cleaning of the automobile tires.
With this invention of the above structure, the driver neither has to clean the tires whenever it is contaminated, need any equipments such as washing devices, set aside time for cleaning the tires, nor put effort into tire cleaning. Moreover, this cleaning device can be attached and detached from the automobile very easily and it can clean the tires whilst the automobile is in motion without causing any damage to the automobile.
In addition, by enabling the cleaning device to be rotated to control the angle of the cleaning device in order for it to be kept close to the tire, this invention can effectively remove the contaminants of the tires and maintain clean tires at all times.

This invention is about a cleaning device for automobile tires that is attached to a side of the tire wheelhouse and, removes the contaminants from the tire using the friction between the sides of the tire and the rubber caused by constant repetition of attachment and detachment from the tire.
The features, compartments, and advantages of the foregoing device will become more apparent with the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in which:
Fig.1 and Fig.2 represents the principle perspective view of the device separated into different parts. Fig.3 and Fig.4 represents the device united into one body. Fig.5 and Fig.6 is a sectioned diagram that illustrates the operational relationship in case of its execution. Fig.7 and Fig.8 represents the state of usage of the invention at its first execution.
As illustrated, the cleaning device according to this invention is installed on a side of the tire wheelhouse (A), and is comprised of three large parts: fixation device (10), which is fixated to the automobile, rotating compartment (20) of the structure of hinge union that can be rotated and may be attached and detached from the fixation device (10), and cleaning device (30), which is comprising the rubber part (33). Hence, this device is of the structure in which the tire and the cleaning device are kept close together and hence enforces the cleaning of the tires.
First of all, fixation device (10) is built such that it is installed on one side of the automobile, more specifically on one side of the tire wheelhouse (A). It is formed into a shape of ‘ㄷ’ and comprises a fitting compartment (11) so as to be fitted with the automobile. This fixation device (10) is comprising the fitting compartment (11) of the shape ‘ㄷ’ which is fitted into the union groove (21c) of rotating compartment (20) body (21), thus uniting fixation device (10) with rotating compartment (20).
Secondly, the structure of the rotating compartment (20) has one end that is united with one side of fixation device (10) and the other side that is united with cleaning device. The structure according to the first execution of this invention is as follows. The rotating compartment (20) comprises the body (21) which includes the long circle (21a), into which long bolt (23) is inserted. The rotating compartment also comprises a rotating part (22). In the middle of one side of it, the union circle (22c) is formed, and both ends of the other side are bent, where passing circles (22b) are formed at each end.
As above, body (21) has one or more groove which enables a side of the fixation device (10) to be fitted and thus united with the fixation device (10). In the middle, fitting grooves (21b) are formed at the upper and lower sides of the long circle (21a) and into which bent compartment (22a) of both ends are fitted. In the middle of a side of rotating part (22), union circle (22c) is formed with which cleaning device (30) is united.
On the other hand, looking at the structure of the rotating compartment (20) according to another execution case, hinge ball (24a) is installed on one side. Also, it comprises body (21) which has one or more of union groove (21c), into which one side of fixation device (10) is fitted. As well, rotating compartment (20) comprises a ball reception (25) which unites the hinge ball (24a) so as to enable its rotation.
Secondly, body (21) has union groove (21c) into which one side of fixation device (10) is fitted and thus it can be united with fixation device (10). hinge ball (24a) is united with ball reception (25) such that hinge ball (24a) can rotate inside ball reception (25). In the middle of one side of ball reception (25), union circle (25a) is formed so as to unite it with cleaning device (30).
Lastly, cleaning device (30) ultimately cleans the contaminants of the tires, and its structure is as follows. On its one side, connecting loop (31) is formed. connecting loop (31)contains a connecting loop (31)which is hooked to connecting loop (31)such that it can be attached and detached from the (22c, 25a). It contains rubber part (33) and holder (32), which are united. rubber part (33) contacts the tires directly.
rubber part (33) has either a long rectangular shape or it is separated into long thin pieces. The length of rubber part (33) may vary, depending on different kinds of tires, such that it is stretched from where it is link to the automobile to where it can touch a side of a tire.
During the process of assembly of the above invention according to the case of its first execution, one side of the fixation device (10) is fitted into the union groove (21c) of body (21) so as to unite fixation device (10) and rotating compartment (20).
Secondly, bent compartment (22a) of rotating part (22) is fitted into fitting groove (21b). long bolt (23) is inserted into long circle (21a) of body (21) and its end is fixated to nut (23a). This unites rotating part (22) with body (21) to form a hinge union structure such that rotating part (22) can rotate about the axis of rotation in a fixed range.
Lastly, connecting loop (31), which is formed on one side of holder (32) which supports one side of rubber part (33), is linked to union circle (22c), which is formed on one side of rotating part (22), such that they are united. This completes the construction of this cleaning device. fitting compartment (11) of the constructed tire cleaning device fixation device (10) is fitted into a side of tire wheelhouse (A). This completes the attachment of the cleaning device to the automobile.
On the other hand, during the process of construction according to another case of execution of this invention, one side of fixation device (10) is fitted into union groove (24b) of body (24) so as to unite fixation device (10) with rotating compartment (20). Also, hinge ball (24a) on one side of body (24) is united with the inside of ball reception (25), and nails are screwed such that hinge ball (24a) can rotate at fixed range of angle inside ball reception (25).
After that, connecting loop (31), which is formed on one side of holder (32) which supports one side of rubber part (33), is linked to union circle (25a), which is on one side of ball reception (25), so that they are united. This completes the construction of this tire cleaning device invention. fixation device (10) of the constructed tire cleaning device fixation device (10) is fitted into the tire wheelhouse (A). This completes the attachment of the cleaning device to the automobile.
If an automobile, equipped with the tire cleaning device with structure as described above, starts operating, there s a lot of contacts between the rotating tire and the cleaning device (30), which is united by rotating compartment (20) to the fixation device (10) which is fixated to the automobile. Through these contacts, dirt and contaminants attached on the tire are cleaned. The angle of rotating compartment (20) may be adjusted in order to control the area of contacts between the rotating tire and the cleaning device (30) in order to maximize the efficiency in cleaning the tire. This results in an effective tire cleaning.

Claims (3)

  1. As a cleaning device for automobile tires, a cleaning device that is comprising a ‘ㄷ’-shaped fixation device (10) that has fitting compartment (11) so that it is attachable and detachable from the side of the tire wheelhouse (A), rotating compartment (20) that has a rotating hinge union structure and may be attached and detached by above fixation device (10), and the cleaning device (30) that is joint with a side of the above rotating compartment (20) and includes the rubber part (33) so that the angle of the cleaning device (30) can be controlled in order for the cleaning device (30) and the tire can be closely put together.
  2. A cleaning device according to claim 1, which features:
    rotating compartment (20), which is comprising body (21) and rotating part (22) whereas the body (21) in the shape of rectangular sheet and has a protrusion in the middle and has on its side one or more of union groove (21c) into which fixation device (10) can be fitted, and in the upper and lower parts of the protrusion, there is a fitting groove (21b) is formed into which rotating part (22) can be fitted, and in the perpendicular direction of the protrusion, fitting groove (21b) is formed so that the long bolt (23) can be inserted; and
    rotating part (22), which is bent in the shape of ‘ㄷ’ so that it is inserted into the upper fitting groove (21b), the union circle (22c) that is formed in the middle of the rear to be united with the cleaning device (30), and in the bent upper and lower parts, passing circle (22b), which is formed so that the long bolt (23) can penetrate.
  3. A cleaning device according to claim 1, which features:
    rotating compartment (20) which is comprising body (24) and ball reception (25), where body (24) is in the shape of rectangular sheet and on the side there is hinge ball (24a) and there is one or more union groove (24b) which enables the connection to the fixation device (10); and
    ball reception (25) is united with the upperhinge ball (24a) and is formed in a shape of a topless cylinder so that the rotation is enabled, and in the middle of its rear, union circle (25a) is formed to enable the union with the cleaning device (30).
