  • the coaxial feeder is designed such that the top 25b does not extend all the way into the rotor 11. This design is advantageous since it reduces the risk of plugging at the respective inlets of the openings 19.
  • the gap that is formed between the thread 25 and the rotor 11 is also advantageous since the inlets of the openings 19 thereby may be made larger than the extension of the coaxial feeder. That this is the case in the embodiment shown, is most clearly seen in figure 6.
  • the coaxial feeder 23 is provided with four threads 25, which are all designed equally, i.e. having an essentially straight part 25a with which a top 25b is connected. It is understood by a person skilled in the art that the number of threads may be varied from one and upwards in order to match different conditions of operation.
  • the number of threads is between 2 and 8. It is further understood by the skilled person that the number of threads, and their placement, should correspond to the openings 19 of the first rotor, such that the material that has been carried forward by the respective thread 25 arrives at an opening 19 and thereby may be carried further towards the space between the rotors 11 and 12.
  • the rotor 11 is shown separately, where the openings 19 are shown partly in cross-section, such that the inlet as well as the double outlets 19a and 19b are visible. From figure 5, it is also evident that the rotor 11 is provided with four feeding openings 19, each of which having one inlet and two outlets 19a and 19b. The foremost reason for each opening 19 to have two outlets is that the feeding of material to the refining zone shall be efficient regardless of in which direction the rotor 11 is rotating. Thus, the material will be carried through one set of openings when the rotor rotates in a first direction and through the other set of openings when the rotor rotates in the other direction.
  • the coaxial feeder 23 in the embodiment shown is screwed onto the rotor 11 by means of screws 26.

Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un raffineur servant à raffiner de la matière telle que des copeaux de bois ou similaires, qui comprend : des premier et second rotors opposés et pouvant tourner l’un par rapport à l’autre (11, 12), qui sont dotés d’éléments de raffinage (15, 16) et qui délimitent entre eux un espace de raffinage avec une zone de raffinage (17) pour le traitement de la matière. Le premier rotor (11) comprend des ouvertures (19) ayant un côté entrée et un côté sortie (19a, 19b) conçus pour le passage de la matière, le côté sortie étant adjacent à la zone d’alimentation (18) de l’espace de raffinage ; une chambre d’alimentation (22) vers laquelle doit être acheminée la matière, et qui est adjacente au côté entrée des ouvertures (19) du rotor ; un dispositif d’alimentation coaxial (23) comportant un corps de vis (24) et des filetages en forme d’hélice (25), ledit dispositif d’alimentation coaxial (23) étant placé à l’intérieur de la chambre d’alimentation (22) afin de tourner en même temps que le premier rotor (11) et de porter la matière vers les ouvertures (19) du rotor. Les filetages (25) du dispositif d’alimentation coaxial (23) comprennent une partie essentiellement droite (25a) qui s’étend essentiellement depuis le corps de vis (24) et qui, en fonctionnement, est destinée à porter la matière dans la direction longitudinale vers l’espace de raffinage, la partie droite (25a) passe dans une partie supérieure (25b) qui est destinée à limiter le mouvement radial de la matière.
