Abstract

The invention relates to a cable holder for suspending an object, particularly a luminaire, comprising a housing (1) having a first through-passage (2) for accommodating a first cable (22), a clamping device (3) for fixing the housing (1) to the first cable (22), a second through-passage (4) for guiding the first cable (22) out of the housing (1), and a guide element (5) for accommodating and fixing a second cable (23). The object of the invention is to configure and improve a cable holder such that the stress and alignment of the cables can be selected independently of each other, characterized in that a through-region (6) is configured in the guide element (5) for both cables (22, 23) in which the cables (22, 23) are guided past each other.
