Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren und eine zugehörige Vorrichtung zum Betrieb einer Brennkraftmaschine, insbesondere eines Dieselmotors mit Einspritzsystem (ESS) mit einem flüssigen Kraftstoffgemisch (KG) bestehend aus zumindest einem ersten flüssigen Kraftstoff (K1) und einem zweiten flüssigen Kraftstoff (K2) mit einem Siedepunkt von unter 100° Celsius, die in jeweils einem Kraftstofftank (KST1, KST2) getrennt voneinander aufbewahrt werden, wobei abhängig von zumindest der Temperatur (T) des flüssigen Kraftstoffgemisches (KG) zumindest ein Anteil des zweiten flüssigen Kraftstoffes (K2) im flüssigen Kraftstoffgemisch (KG) in einen gasförmigen Zustand übergeht. Vorteilhaft wird das flüssige Kraftstoffgemisch (KG) durch Mischung des ersten und zweiten flüssigen Kraftstoffes (K1, K2) in einem einstellbaren Mischungsverhältnis (MV) erzeugt und anschließend der Brennkraftmaschine zugeführt wird. Ferner wird der entstehende gasförmige Kraftstoffanteil (GKA) des zweiten flüssigen Kraftstoffes (K2) mittels einer Separatoreinheit (SE) vom flüssigen Kraftstoffgemisch (KG) separiert und mittels einer Kondensatoreinheit (KE) der separierte gasförmige Kraftstoffanteil (GKA) in den flüssigen Zustand überführt.
