  • the sealing step which is simultaneous with the labeling step, instead allows to perform labeling in a step that follows the deposition of the food into the container, which is usually subcontracted to external companies, and in particular provides the user with the possibility to perform this operation autonomously when he/she applies the compulsory expiration date of food, saving on costs.
  • this particular configuration allows to eliminate the lateral edge that in known containers was assigned to the placement of the locking means, reducing the dimensions of the container and also its weight.
  • the distance between the base vessel and the lid i.e., the thickness of the container for eggs
  • the distance between the base vessel and the lid is reduced with respect to traditional containers, because the locking means are no longer located in the edge of the container but at the center, allowing the lids to adhere perfectly to the base body laterally.
  • Another advantage of the invention is that the provision of the mold for thermoforming is simpler, since a smaller number of locking means is necessary and the connections between the base vessel and the lids have limited dimensions.
