  • the end of the wire rope (56) is forced backward by the assembly consisting in the electric motor (52), belt (51) and rod (53), moving the rear door (5') of the truck top.
  • a latch (61) that pivots on the structure (40) and is governed by a rod (62) actuated by the trolley (54) when it is at the end of its forward course, as shown in figure 28.
  • the latch (61) has a tooth that penetrates into a recess in a body (63) joined to the door (5'), preventing it from moving even when exposed to intense vibration as the vehicle rides on a hard-surfaced road.
  • roller (59 and 66) may also be replaced with other equivalent means, for example, bushings, roller bearings, pins made of anti-friction material and other adequate means.
  • Figure 29 shows yet another constructive option for the retractable truck bed top that may present a one-piece roof (70), i.e. formed by a single panel, wherein the side panels (6') assume the vertical discontinuous position from the rim (2') of the vertical front panel (1').

Abstract

L'invention concerne un couvercle rétractable de plateau de camion pour véhicules utilitaires qui peut être utilisé dans la position relevée, au même niveau que la cabine, ou rétractée, au même niveau que le plateau de camion. Le couvercle de plateau de camion est formé par un panneau vertical avant (1), qui repose sur le plateau de camion et est profilé par un bord (2), un toit formé par deux panneaux étroits (4) qui flanquent un panneau central (3), un panneau pivotant qui forme la porte arrière (5) et des côtés pivotants (6) sur le plateau de camion. L'élévation du toit (3 & 4) et le pivotement de la porte arrière (5) du couvercle de plateau de camion sont obtenus au moyen de la rotation des vis verticales (7), qui sont équipées de paliers au niveau de leurs extrémités. Une manivelle (8) est utilisée pour faire tourner l'une des vis (7). Les deux vis verticales (7) sont synchronisées au moyen d'un arbre transversal horizontal (9), positionné sur le côté interne de la base du couvercle de plateau de camion. Un arbre central vertical (10) est également entraîné par l'arbre transversal (9) et transmet la rotation à une vis longitudinale (11) positionnée sous le panneau central (3) du toit qui en réponse fait pivoter la porte arrière (5). Cette vis (11) amène la traverse supérieure (12) à se déplacer vers l'avant et vers l'arrière, conduisant au pivotement de la porte arrière. Une vis horizontale (13), parallèle à l'arbre transversal (9) et entraînée par la manivelle (8), déplace le palier des bras pivotants (14), amenant les côtés du couvercle de plateau de camion (6) à pivoter. Des guides transversaux (15), positionnés sous les parties avant et arrière du toit, commandent le mouvement vers l'intérieur et vers l'extérieur des panneaux étroits (4) sur le couvercle de plateau de camion conjointement avec les tiges d'inclinaison (37).
