サブバンド毎のCQI(周波数選択性CQI)は、システム帯域を所定の周波数幅で分割することにより得られる複数のサブバンドの各々におけるCQIの平均値である。すなわち、サブバンド毎にCQI値(平均値)が求められる。これらの複数の平均CQI値の高い順にサブバンドが順位付けられ、高い方からM個のサブバンド(Best-M subbands)が選択され、そのM個のサブバンドに対応するM個のCQI値、または、M個のサブバンドの平均のCQI値がCQIとして選択される。Mは、ユーザ装置において決定される1以上の自然数であり、具体的には2であってよい。この報告方法においては、このように取得されたM個のCQI値、または、M個のサブバンドのCQI値の平均値と、広帯域CQIとがユーザ装置から基地局へ報告(送信)される。また、M個のCQI値に対応するサブバンドのID情報(サブバンド番号)も併せて基地局に対して報告される。
この報告においては、サブバンド毎のCQIは、基地局により構成(指定)される。すなわち、広帯域CQIと、基地局が構成したサブバンド毎のCQIとが、ユーザ装置から基地局に対して報告される。この場合、サブバンド毎のCQIの数は、例えば、システム帯域のすべてのサブバンドの数であってよい。
上記CQIの報告のタイミングとしては、周期的な報告と非周期的な報告とがある。周期的な報告においては、CQIは、PUCCHおよびPUSCHのいずれかを使用することが許容される。例えば、ユーザ装置が選択したサブバンド毎のCQIが報告される場合、ユーザ装置は、PUCCHまたはPUSCHを使用して、1、または、複数個のCQI値を基地局に対して周期的に報告(送信)する。非周期的な報告は、基地局からのCQI報告の要求に応答して、ユーザ装置が基地局に対してCQIを報告する。この場合に使用されるチャネルは、PUSCHに限られる。
図1を参照しながら、本発明の第1の実施形態による基地局を説明する。図示のとおり、第1の実施形態による基地局1は、多重・マッピング法判定部10、CQI復調部12、スケジューラ14、ユーザ装置速度検出部16、およびCQI報告法決定部18を含む。
次に、図4を参照しながら、本発明の第2の実施形態による基地局を説明する。図示のとおり、第2の実施形態による基地局4は、多重・マッピング法判定部40、CQI復調部12、スケジューラ14、ユーザ装置速度検出部16、CQI報告法決定部48、およびユーザ装置数検出部42を有する。ここで、CQI復調部12、スケジューラ14、およびユーザ装置速度検出部16は、先に説明したとおりの構成/機能を有しているため、これらに関する重複する説明を省略する。
次に、図6を参照しながら、本発明の第3の実施形態による基地局を説明する。図示のとおり、第3の実施形態による基地局6は、多重・マッピング法判定部10、CQI復調部62、スケジューラ14、ユーザ装置速度検出部16、CQI報告法決定部68、および受信品質情報判定部64を有する。ここで、多重・マッピング法判定部10、スケジューラ14、およびユーザ装置速度検出部16は、先に説明したとおりの構成/機能を有しているため、これらに関する重複する説明を省略する。
以下、図7を参照しながら、上記の基地局6において実施される本実施形態によるCQI報告法決定方法を説明する。なお、基地局6と通信を行うユーザ装置は、本発明の第2の実施形態によるユーザ装置2であってよく、以下の説明でも、基地局6とユーザ装置2との間で通信が行われることとする。
続けて、本発明の第4の実施形態による基地局、およびこの基地局において使用されるCQI報告法決定方法を説明する。第4の実施形態のCQI報告法決定方法は、CQI報告のタイミングと、CQIの報告に使用されるチャネルとを決定する。この方法は、上記の第1から第3の実施形態によるCQI報告法決定方法のいずれかとともに使用されてよい。以下の説明では、広帯域CQI、ユーザ装置が選択したM個のサブバンド毎のCQI、またはM個のサブバンドの平均のCQI(Best-M average subbands CQI)、および基地局が構成したサブバンド毎のCQIを区別することなく、単に、CQIと記すが、このCQIは、第1から第3の実施形態によるCQI報告法決定方法のいずれかにより決定されたものであってよい。
Claims (25)
- 移動体通信システムにおける基地局であって:
ユーザ装置に関する所定の情報を検出する検出部;および
前記所定の情報に基づいて、当該ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告すべきチャネル品質情報の種別を決定する決定部;
を備える基地局。 - 前記検出部は、前記ユーザ装置より受信した当該ユーザ装置の移動速度を示す信号に基づいて、当該ユーザ装置の前記移動速度を検出し、
前記決定部は、前記移動速度に基づいて、
前記移動体通信システムに割り当てられるシステム帯域の全体の受信品質を示す広帯域チャネル品質情報、または
前記広域帯チャネル品質情報と、前記システム帯域の複数のサブバンドに対応する複数のチャネル品質情報のうちの少なくとも一つとの組み合わせ、
のいずれを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告すべきかを決定する、請求項1に記載の基地局。 - 前記検出部は、前記移動体通信システムに割り当てられるシステム帯域の全体の受信品質を示す広域帯チャネル品質情報と、前記システム帯域の複数のサブバンドに対応する複数のチャネル品質情報のうちの少なくとも一つのチャネル品質情報との組み合わせを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告することとなっている場合に、前記基地局が形成するセル又はセクタに存在する前記ユーザ装置の数を検出し、
前記決定部は、前記ユーザ装置の数についての第1の基準に基づいて、
前記広帯域チャネル品質情報と、前記複数のチャネル品質情報のうちから高い順に選択されたM個のチャネル品質情報もしくは前記ユーザ装置において選択されるM個のチャネル品質情報の平均値との第1の組み合わせ、または
前記広帯域チャネル品質情報と、前記複数のチャネル品質情報のうちから前記基地局が構成する、サブチャネルのチャネル品質情報との第2の組み合わせ、
のいずれを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告すべきかを決定する、請求項1に記載の基地局。 - 前記検出部は、前記移動体通信システムに割り当てられるシステム帯域の全体の受信品質を示す広域帯チャネル品質情報と、前記システム帯域の複数のサブバンドに対応する複数のチャネル品質情報のうちの少なくとも一つのチャネル品質情報との組み合わせを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告することとなっている場合に、前記ユーザ装置より受信した受信信号から前記広帯域チャネル品質情報を抽出し、
前記決定部は、前記抽出された前記広帯域チャネル品質情報についての第1の基準に基づいて、
前記広帯域チャネル品質情報と、前記複数のチャネル品質情報のうちから高い順に選択されたM個のチャネル品質情報もしくは前記ユーザ装置において選択されるM個のチャネル品質情報の平均値との第1の組み合わせ、または、
前記広帯域チャネル品質情報と、前記複数のチャネル品質情報のうちから前記基地局が構成する、サブチャネルのチャネル品質情報との第2の組み合わせ、
のいずれを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告すべきかを決定する、請求項1に記載の基地局。 - 前記決定部は、前記第1の組み合わせに決定した場合に、前記ユーザ装置の数についての第2の基準に基づいて、前記ユーザ装置が前記広帯域チャネル品質情報のみを前記基地局に報告すべきことを決定する、請求項3に記載の基地局。
- 前記決定部は、前記第1の組み合わせに決定した場合に、前記抽出された広帯域チャネル品質情報についての第2の基準に基づいて、前記ユーザ装置が前記広帯域チャネル品質情報のみを前記基地局に報告すべきことを決定する、請求項4に記載の基地局。
- 前記決定部による決定が、高レイヤシグナリングにより前記ユーザ装置に固有に通知される、請求項2に記載の基地局。
- 前記決定部による決定が、高レイヤシグナリングによりセル又はセクタに固有に通知される、請求項3に記載の基地局。
- 請求項2に記載の基地局と通信を行うユーザ装置であって、当該ユーザ装置の移動速度を測定する移動速度測定部を備えるユーザ装置。
- 移動体通信システムの基地局であって:
上り制御チャネルを使用してチャネル品質情報を周期的に報告するユーザ装置の要求品質情報を取得して、取得した要求品質情報が所定基準以下か否かを判定する要求品質情報判定部;および
前記要求品質情報判定部によって前記要求品質情報が前記所定基準より高いと判定された場合に、当該ユーザ装置に対して上り共有チャネルの使用を許容すべきことを決定する決定部;
を備える基地局。 - 前記要求品質情報判定部によって前記要求品質情報が前記所定基準以下と判定された場合に、前記上り制御チャネルで送信される信号の多重数が所定数以下か否かを判定する多重数判定部を更に備え、
前記多重数判定部によって前記多重数が前記所定数より大きいと判定された場合に、前記決定部が、当該ユーザ装置に対して上り共有チャネルの使用を許容すべきことを決定する、請求項10に記載の基地局。 - 移動体通信システムの基地局であって:
上り制御チャネルを使用してチャネル品質情報を周期的に報告する複数のユーザ装置に対し前記基地局によりリソースブロックが割り当てられた場合に、システムに許容される全リソースブロック数に対する、割り当てられたリソースブロックの数の割合が所定の基準割合以下か否かを判定するリソースブロック割合判定部;および
前記リソースブロック割合判定部によって前記リソースブロックの割合が所定の基準割合以下と判定された場合に、上り共有チャネルを使用したチャネル品質情報の報告を前記ユーザ装置に対して要求すべきことを決定する決定部;
を備える基地局。 - 移動体通信システムの基地局であって:
上り制御チャネルを使用してチャネル品質情報を周期的に報告する複数のユーザ装置に対し前記基地局によりリソースブロックが割り当てられた場合に、前記上り制御チャネルの受信品質が所定の基準値以下か否かを判定する受信品質判定部;および
前記受信品質判定部によって前記受信品質が所定の基準値以下と判定された場合に、上り共有チャネルを使用したチャネル品質情報の報告を前記ユーザ装置に対して要求すべきことを決定する決定部;
を備える基地局。 - 移動体通信システムにおける、ユーザ装置から基地局へのチャネル品質情報の報告法を決定する方法であって:
前記ユーザ装置に関する所定の情報を検出する検出ステップ;および
前記所定の情報に基づいて、当該ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告すべきチャネル品質情報の種別を決定する決定ステップ;
を含む方法。 - 前記検出ステップにおいて、前記ユーザ装置より該ユーザ装置の移動速度を示す信号が受信され、この信号に基づいて、当該ユーザ装置の前記移動速度が検出され、
前記決定ステップにおいて、前記移動速度に基づいて、
前記移動体通信システムに割り当てられるシステム帯域の全体の受信品質を示す広帯域チャネル品質情報、または
前記広域帯チャネル品質情報と、前記システム帯域の複数のサブバンドに対応する複数のチャネル品質情報のうちの少なくとも一つとの組み合わせ、
のいずれを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告すべきかが決定される、請求項14に記載の方法。 - 前記検出ステップにおいて、前記移動体通信システムに割り当てられるシステム帯域の全体の受信品質を示す広域帯チャネル品質情報と、前記システム帯域の複数のサブバンドに対応する複数のチャネル品質情報のうちの少なくとも一つのチャネル品質情報との組み合わせを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告することとなっている場合に、前記基地局が形成するセル又はセクタに存在するユーザ装置の数が検出され、
前記決定ステップにおいて、前記ユーザ装置の数についての第1の基準に基づいて、
前記広帯域チャネル品質情報と、前記複数のチャネル品質情報のうちから高い順に選択されたM個のチャネル品質情報もしくは前記ユーザ装置において選択されるM個のチャネル品質情報の平均値との第1の組み合わせ、または
前記広帯域チャネル品質情報と、前記複数のチャネル品質情報のうちから前記基地局が構成する、サブチャネルのチャネル品質情報との第2の組み合わせ、
のいずれを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告すべきかが決定される、請求項14に記載の方法。 - 前記検出ステップにおいて、前記移動体通信システムに割り当てられるシステム帯域の全体の受信品質を示す広域帯チャネル品質情報と、前記システム帯域の複数のサブバンドに対応する複数のチャネル品質情報のうちの少なくとも一つのチャネル品質情報との組み合わせを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告することとなっている場合に、前記ユーザ装置より受信した受信信号から前記広帯域チャネル品質情報が抽出され、
前記決定ステップにおいて、前記抽出された前記広帯域チャネル品質情報についての第1の基準に基づいて、
前記広帯域チャネル品質情報と、前記複数のチャネル品質情報のうちから高い順に選択されたM個のチャネル品質情報もしくは前記ユーザ装置において選択されるM個のチャネル品質情報の平均値との第1の組み合わせ、または、
前記広帯域チャネル品質情報と、前記複数のチャネル品質情報のうちから前記基地局が構成する、サブチャネルのチャネル品質情報との第2の組み合わせ、
のいずれを前記ユーザ装置が前記基地局に報告すべきかが決定される、請求項14に記載の方法。 - 前記第1の組み合わせに決定された場合に、前記ユーザ装置の数についての第2の基準に基づいて、前記ユーザ装置が前記広帯域チャネル品質情報のみを前記基地局に報告すべきことが決定される他の決定ステップを更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の組み合わせに決定した場合に、前記抽出された広帯域チャネル品質情報についての第2の基準に基づいて、前記ユーザ装置が前記広帯域チャネル品質情報のみを前記基地局に報告すべきことが決定される他の決定ステップを更に含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザ装置の数に基づく決定を、高レイヤシグナリングにより前記ユーザ装置に固有に通知するステップを更に有する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記抽出した広帯域チャネル品質情報に基づく決定を、高レイヤシグナリングによりセル又はセクタに固有に通知するステップを更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 移動体通信システムにおける、ユーザ装置から基地局へのチャネル品質情報の報告法を決定する方法であって:
上り制御チャネルを使用してチャネル品質情報を周期的に報告するユーザ装置の要求品質情報を取得して、取得した要求品質情報が所定基準以下か否かを判定するステップ;および
前記要求品質情報が前記所定基準より高いと判定した場合に、当該ユーザ装置に対して上り共有チャネルの使用を許容すべきことを決定するステップ;
を含む方法。 - 前記要求品質情報が前記所定基準以下と判定した場合に、前記上り制御チャネルで送信される信号の多重数が所定数以下か否かを判定するステップ;および
前記多重数が前記所定数より大きいと判定した場合に、当該ユーザ装置に対して上り共有チャネルの使用を許容すべきことを決定するステップ;を更に含む請求項22に記載の方法。 - 移動体通信システムにおける、ユーザ装置から基地局へのチャネル品質情報の報告法を決定する方法であって:
上り制御チャネルを使用してチャネル品質情報を周期的に報告する複数のユーザ装置に対し前記基地局によりリソースブロックが割り当てられた場合に、システムに許容される全リソースブロック数に対する、割り当てられたリソースブロックの数の割合が所定の基準割合以下か否かを判定するステップ;および
前記リソースブロックの割合が所定の基準割合以下と判定した場合に、上り共有チャネルを使用したチャネル品質情報の報告を前記ユーザ装置に対して要求すべきことを決定するステップ;
を含む方法。 - 移動体通信システムにおける、ユーザ装置から基地局へのチャネル品質情報の報告法を決定する方法であって:
上り制御チャネルを使用してチャネル品質情報を周期的に報告する複数のユーザ装置に対し前記基地局によりリソースブロックが割り当てられた場合に、前記上り制御チャネルの受信品質が所定の基準値以下か否かを判定するステップ;および
前記受信品質が所定の基準値以下と判定した場合に、上り共有チャネルを使用したチャネル品質情報の報告を前記ユーザ装置に対して要求すべきことを決定するステップ;
を含む方法。
