Abstract
An environmental-friendly alternative fuel composition includes: a hydrocarbon compound of 40 to 60 parts by weight which contains paraffin series, olefin series and naphthene series, a hydrocarbon compound of 15 to 20 parts which contains aromatic series, a hydrocarbon compound of 5 to 10 parts by weight which contains five carbon atoms, a hydrocarbon compound of 7 to 12 parts by weight which contains nine carbon atoms, toluene of 3 to 15 parts by weight, methyl tertialry butylether (MTBE) of 4 to 12 parts by weight, and alcohol of 4 to 20 parts by weight which contains 1 to 4 carbon atoms. Compared to normal gasoline, the density of harmful exhaust gas such as hydrocarbon (HC), nitrogen oxide (NOx), and carbon monoxide (CO) is remarkably reduced, whereby air pollution is minimized. Also, compared to normal gasoline, since the octane number is high, the fuel efficiency is high, so that a knocking phenomenon is suppressed, and since calorie is high, the fuel economy is improved.
