Abstract
Liquid is received in liquid receiving sections (1-15, 17) formed in a first layer (50a) and a second layer (50b) of a cartridge and each having a specific volume determined according to a liquid to be received in the liquid receiving section. A reaction tank is connected to one of flow ports (1a-16a), and, with the reaction tank connected, pressure is applied to a liquid receiving section connected to the flow port to which the reaction tank is connected. This causes outside air to be supplied to that liquid receiving section from an outside-air flow section (21) communicating with the outside, and liquid received in the liquid receiving section is supplied to the reaction tank. Then, the cartridge is rotated to connect another flow port to the reaction tank, and as a result, liquids are supplied to the reaction tank. In this process, the outside air supplied from the outside-air flow section (21) is supplied to the reaction tank via the flow port connected to the reaction tank and via one of the liquid receiving sections, and as a result, the liquids received in the reaction tank are stirred by the inflow of the outside air.
