Abstract

　省電力化を図ることが可能な通信装置を提供することを目的とする。 　通信装置(1)は、通信ポート(10)と、通信ポートを介した情報通信を制御する通信監視部(18,22)と、１つ以上の状態表示器を含む状態表示部(12)と、通信監視部から通信状態を検出し、当該通信状態に基づいて状態表示部に供給する駆動信号を制御する状態表示器駆動部(20)と、通信監視部から通信状態を検出し、当該通信状態が第１の状態から第２の状態へ変化した場合に、状態表示器駆動部に対して制御信号を出力する点灯制御部(24)と、を含む。状態表示器駆動部は、点灯制御部から制御信号が出力されたときに、状態表示器を消灯させるように駆動信号を制御する。
