Abstract
[PROBLEMS] To provide a device capable of casting a product free from underfill and cavity continuously and efficiently. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Under a state where a seal pin (18) is raised to connect the vertical part (13a) with the horizontal part (13b) of a ventilation path (13) and a well (12) is opened to the atmosphere, the cavity (10) is filled with molten aluminum by supplying air to the upper space of a molten storage section (1). The majority of gas generated from a sand core (8) is discharged through a channel (11), the well (12) and the ventilation path (13). When the gas in the cavity (10) is discharged, the molten aluminum enters the well (12) through the channel (11). Inflow of the molten aluminum is detected by a sensor (14). A hydraulic cylinder (21) is driven on receiving a detection signal and the seal pin (18) is lowered to close the vertical part (13a) of the ventilation path (13). Consequently, the molten aluminum can be prevented surely from spouting out through the ventilation path (13).
