Abstract

 超臨界状態の過程を含んで作動する冷媒を使用した冷凍装置において、装置の大型化を抑えつつ、多段圧縮式の圧縮要素による冷媒循環量の調整自由度を増大させ、運転効率を向上させることが可能な冷凍装置を提供する。圧縮要素(302)は、圧縮要素(303c)とさらに冷媒の圧力を高める圧縮要素(303d)とを有する第1圧縮機構(303)と、圧縮要素(304c)とさらに冷媒の圧力を高める圧縮要素(304d)とを有する第2圧縮機構(304)とを含んでいる。中間冷却器(7)は、通過する冷媒を冷却する。中間冷却管(8)は、圧縮要素(303c)が吐出する冷媒および圧縮要素(304c)が吐出する冷媒を中間冷却器(7)を通じて圧縮要素(303d)および圧縮要素(304d)に吸入させる。そして、圧縮要素(303c)と圧縮要素(304c)とが吸入側で繋がっている。圧縮要素(303d)と圧縮要素(304d)とが吐出側で合流している。
