Abstract

　映り込みの改善と、映像光の鮮鋭度およびコントラストの向上とを両立することができるプラズマディスプレイパネル。このプラズマディスプレイパネル（１０）は、互いに離隔して配置される前面板（２００）および背面板（１００）と、前面板（２００）と背面板（１００）との間に形成される放電空間を区画する隔壁（１１０）と、隔壁（１１０）により区画された放電セル（１２０）内に形成される蛍光体層（１３０）と、前面板（２００）および背面板（１００）にそれぞれ配列され、放電セル（１２０）内で放電を発生させる電極と、前面板（２００）の観察者側に配置される前面フィルタ（３００）とを備える。前面フィルタ（３００）は、観察者側に屈折率の異なる２層の樹脂層（３２０、３３０）を備え、観察者側の表面および２層の樹脂層（３２０、３３０）の界面に微細な凹凸をそれぞれ有する。
