Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kolben für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen, mit einem Kolbenboden (10), an dem sich ein Kolbenhemd (14, 14') und Kolbenstege (18) einen Kolbenkasten bildend anschließen, und einer in den Kolbenstegen vorgesehenen Bolzennabe (16, 16'), sowie ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin einen Kolbenbolzen zur Verwendung mit dem Kolben. Die Erfindung geht vor allem von der Erkenntnis aus, dass es einen Werkstoff gibt, der zwar die gewünschten Materialeigenschaften aufweist, jedoch mit den herkömmlichen Verfahren des Gießens oder Pressens nicht für die Kolbenherstellung verwendet werden kann. Gemäß der Erfindung ist daher vorgesehen, dass der Kolben aus einer spritz-kompaktierten Aluminium-Silizium-Legierung besteht.
