　本来実行させたい装置以外の装置がリモート処理を実行している場合でも、当該実行させたい装置に切り替えて、リモート処理を実行させることができる代理処理方法を提供する。 　クライアント装置（１１）が他の装置に要求したリモート処理を、代理サーバ装置（１２）が代理で実行する代理処理方法であって、代理サーバ装置（１２）がリモート処理の実行を開始する開始ステップ（Ｓ６１１）と、代理サーバ装置（１２）がリモート処理のうち実行した処理を示す進捗情報を生成する生成ステップ（Ｓ６１３）と、代理サーバ装置（１２）から要求先サーバ装置（１３）に切り替える切り替え指示に基づき、リモート処理のうち、切り替え指示までに実行された第１処理以降の第２処理を要求先サーバ装置（１３）が実行するように、第１処理を示す進捗情報を代理サーバ装置（１２）が出力する出力ステップ（Ｓ６２０）とを含む。
