Abstract

L'invention porte sur un catalyseur de réaction de transestérification facilement manipulable qui permet d'obtenir un ester alkylique comme produit de l'objet avec un rendement élevé sans nécessiter une étape séparée pour l'élimination de la glycérine. L'invention porte également sur un procédé de fabrication d'un ester alkylique utilisant un tel catalyseur de réaction de transestérification, sur un mélange d'ester alkylique ne contenant guère de FAGC, et sur un carburant contenant un tel mélange d'ester alkylique. De façon spécifique, l'invention porte sur un procédé de production d'un ester alkylique dans lequel un ester alkylique d'acide gras est obtenu par réaction d'un triglycéride comme composé ester avec un carbonate d'alkyle en présence d'un catalyseur de réaction de transestérification contenant principalement de la magnésie légèrement cuite qui est obtenue par cuisson d'hydroxyde de magnésium à une température non inférieure à 355°C mais non supérieure à 650°C.
