Abstract

The invention relates to furniture modules that are built into the body of a vehicle, having a structure formed by three basic parts (1, 2, 3). According to the invention, at least the upper part (1) and the lower part (3) are used to form the module when a minimum height is required and one or more intermediate parts (2) can be added to the module depending on the height required for same. The aforementioned parts are secured to one another using perforated flanges (8) in the form of an extension elbowed orthogonally inward from the side coupling edges of the parts, which flanges also serve as supporting structures for shelves and guides for drawers. In addition, the upper and lower parts include: at the openings thereof, tracks (11) for sliding doors and ball joints (13) for hinged doors, which can be used selectively; side holes (15) for the passage of containment netting or bars; on the back wall thereof, grooves (16) for the passage of webbing; and, on the bases thereof, grooves (18) for the installation of vertical partitions.

VEHICLE

D E S C R I P C I Ó N

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a modular system for interior vehicle bodywork and specifically to the furniture modules integrated in the vehicle body.

The object of the invention is to achieve greater versatility for such modules, so that with a small number of parts it is feasible to achieve a wide range of practical embodiments, with different heights, widths, closure types, interior compartmentalization, modules, etc.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In the invention patent P 200502268, belonging to the applicant, a modular system for interior bodywork of vehicles is described, in which a lateral structure formed by a series of bars extending from floor to ceiling of the vehicle, fixed to the walls sides of the same and provided with eyelets to receive the subsequent anchors of utilities or furniture modules mounted on the vehicle, also incorporating guides fixed to the floor and ceiling, at a certain distance from the aforementioned bars, between which substantially vertical tubes are established intended to be anchored in said guides, positionally facing the aforementioned bars and in turn provided with eyelets to receive the previous anchors of the modules or utilities.

In said Patent, furniture modules were foreseen, such as those shown in figures 14 and 15, consisting of open front receptacles, of different sizes, with fixing means in their bottom or rear wall to the bars fixed to the side walls of the vehicle , and with fixing means in its mouth, specifically perforated lugs, for fixing to the tubes parallel to said bars and offset inwards with respect thereto.

This implies in practice the need to have a specific module for each purpose or practical functionality thereof, which implies the need to have a very wide range of different modules, with the consequent and negative impact that this implies both from the economic point of view, for cost of investment in molds, as from the point of view of stock and versatility.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention solves in a fully satisfactory manner the above-mentioned problem, being able to greatly enhance the versatility of the bodywork, with a minimum number of parts, consequently with lower number of molds, or what is the same with lower investment costs, as well as with greater ease and simplicity of storage or stocking of parts.

For this, and more specifically, it has been foreseen that from the point of view of internal furniture three types of basic parts participate in the bodywork, a piece that could be called superior, since this is its mounting position, which with a configuration tending to the rectangular prism is open both frontally and inferiorly, a lower part identical to the upper one but intended to be mounted in an inverted position, and an intermediate piece of "U" configuration, in this case upper open , inferiorly and frontally.

These three pieces have narrow lateral and perforated fins to achieve a solid union between them, so that by exclusively fixing the upper and lower pieces directly facing each other, a module of minimum height is achieved, height that grows substantially when included between the two pieces previous an intermediate piece, and that can continue to increase indefinitely depending on the number of intermediate pieces that are incorporated into the module.

Obviously, these pieces will all have the means for fixing to bars and tubes described in Spanish Patent P 200502268, and in the case where there are areas with different spacing between adjacent bars, there must also be pieces of different widths.

The possibility of using special pieces, especially at the level of the lower part, is also provided, for example with its inclined bottom to facilitate the stabilization of the objects located inside.

In accordance with another of the improvements of the invention, the upper and lower parts incorporate at the level of their mouth ribs determining rails for sliding doors and hinges for hinged doors, so that doors of both can be arranged interchangeably on the same module types mentioned above, and in the case of swing doors a single door or two doors opposed.

It is also provided that said basic parts incorporate in their side walls supports for internal shelves or drawer guides, as well as a rear brake for the latter.

The existence of lateral holes for the placement of containment rods or a net, as well as rear grooves for the placement of straps has also been provided.

Likewise, grooves for the installation of separating tables have been provided in the bases of the upper and lower parts.

Thus, and as can be deduced from the above, the possibilities of size, compartmentalization, type of closure, etc. of the different modules participating in a bodywork, they are extraordinarily spacious, starting from just three basic parts.

DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

To complement the description that is being made and in order to help a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred example of practical realization thereof, a set of drawings is attached as an integral part of said description. Illustrative and not limiting, the following has been represented:

Figure 7 shows a furniture module of considerable height, compartmentalized by a plurality of intermediate shelves.

Figures 8, 9 and 10.- They show respective furniture modules of different sizes and configurations and with different types of closure, specifically with hinged doors, sliding doors and drawer fronts.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the figures outlined and especially of Figure 1, it can be seen how the furniture modules intended to be integrated in the bodywork are structured from three basic parts, an upper part (1), an intermediate piece ( 2) and a bottom piece (3).

The upper part (1) adopts the configuration of a rectangular prismatic bowl, inverted, open both frontally and inferiorly, provided with perforated lateral lugs (4) at the level of its mouth, like those of the main patent, for its fixation to the tubes anterior (5) (see figure 14), and in its rear wall of means for fixing to the rear bars (6), also like those of the main patent.

The intermediate part (2) adopts a "U" configuration, open upper, lower and frontally, and has the same fixing means to said tubes and bars (5-6), while the lower part (3) will normally be identical to the upper part (1), but in an inverted position, as shown in figure 1, being able to adopt the configuration of figure 2, where said lower part is referenced with (3 ') and has a trapezoidal profile, in order to that its bottom (7) is tilted down and back.

Returning again to the intermediate piece (2), it may have a constant height in its three walls, or the height of its side walls may be slightly increasing, as shown in Ia Figure 7, depending on whether modules are intended for a vehicle with flat side walls or curved side walls, with interior concavity.

These pieces (1, 2, 3) are intended to be fixed together, for which they have perforated fins (8) at their inter-coupling edges, angled orthogonally inwards, which allow a solid fixation between them with the collaboration of screws, rivets or any other appropriate means, for which purpose and as is evident the holes of such complementary fins are duly facing each other in the mounting position.

Combining exclusively the upper and lower parts (1-3) a rectangular prismatic module is opened and frontally open, of minimum height, as shown in Figure 3, combining the three basic pieces (1, 2,3) a prismatic module is obtained rectangular of greater height, as shown in Figure 4, and replacing the lower part (3) with Ia (3 ') a trapezoidal profile module is obtained, with its inclined bottom, as shown in Figure 5.

Obviously by increasing the number of intermediate pieces (2) furniture modules of any desired height can be achieved, such as the one shown in Figure 7.

Basic parts are also provided with the configuration described but of greater width, for example double those shown in Figure 1, to achieve furniture modules of the same height as the previous case but of considerably greater width, such as that shown in Ia Figure 6, in which the upper and lower basic parts are referenced with (1 ¹ and 3 '). Turning again to the perforated fins (8) for fixing between basic parts (1, 2, 3), it should also be noted that, when said fins are angled orthogonally inwards, they also act as supports for inner shelves (9) as shown in Figure 7, and can also act as guides for drawers (10), as shown in Figure 9.

Both the upper and lower parts are equipped, in their middle branch and at the level of their mouth, with rails (11) for sliding doors (12) and hinges (13) for hinged doors (14), rails and hinges that They are observed in Figure 11, while the corresponding doors are observed in Figure 10.

The three basic pieces (1, 2, 3) incorporate holes (15) in their side walls for the provision of containment rods of the products contained in the modules or for the fixing of a network, at the same time as in its rear wall There are grooves (16), especially visible in Figure 12, for a possible location of straps.

As noted above based on the structuring described for the furniture modules, it is feasible to achieve the most varied combinations of shapes, sizes, closure elements, etc., from a very small number of basic parts, such As can be seen from the observation in Figure 14.
