Abstract
Cuenta con un flotador (1) asociado a elementos mecánicos cuyo movimiento, debido al oleaje del mar (10), es trasmitido al eje de un alternador (9) transduciéndose en energía eléctrica inyectable en una red de alta tensión (13), ó para consumo propio. Esos elementos mecánicos consisten en un brazo (2, 2a) articulado por un extremo al flotador (1) y rematado por su otro extremo en un arco dentado (5, 5a) el cual presenta dos líneas paralelas de agarre, siendo opuestos los sentidos de agarre de cada línea; engranando a su vez cada línea con una rueda dentada (6) que cambia el movimiento lineal en circular de un solo sentido, cada una en el opuesto de la otra, para después sumar y transmitir el giro ya en un único sentido a una serie de engranajes (7) y cajas de cambios (8) que llevan el movimiento hasta el alternador (9), el cual cuenta con un volante de inercia (11).
Description
CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA OBJETO DE LA INVENCIÓN
La presente invención, tal y como se expresa en el enunciado de esta memoria descriptiva, se refiere a un conversor de energía cuya finalidad consiste en obtener energía eléctrica a partir del movimiento de las olas del mar, proporcionando un dispositivo de gran rendimiento que haga viable su utilización. Para ello, la invención proporciona una estructura mecánica basada esencialmente en un brazo dotado de un arco dentado con dos líneas paralelas de agarre en sentidos opuestos, lo que permite transformar la energía oscilante (ascendente y descendente) que recibe el citado brazo o vastago, primero en un lento movimiento circular, para posteriormente adaptarlo a las revoluciones solicitadas por un generador final que permita producir la suficiente energía eléctrica. Además, mediante la invención, se trata de conseguir que en los supuestos de oleaje mínimo, el dispositivo sea capaz de girar a un régimen establecido por el propio generador elegido. ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN
Son conocidos diversos dispositivos para el aprovechamiento de la energía del oleaje marino, dándose en general inconvenientes relativos a un escaso rendimiento de los dispositivos correspondientes o a una difícil y costosa aplicación de los mismos. Así, conocemos, por ejemplo, el Modelo de Utilidad 229.448 enunciado como "dispositivo para transformar la energía potencial de las olas del mar" ; caracterizándose este dispositivo por formarse a partir de un bastidor instalado dentro o sobre el mar, que se constituye como elemento portador de un mecanismo, el cual lo componen unos flotadores encajonados dentro de unos diques, que producen un movimiento alternativo transformado en rotativo por un sistema de piñón-cremallera, o bien es aprovechado el citado movimiento para mover un sistema cilindro-émbolo que proporciona la presión necesaria en una
instalación hidráulica o neumática, capaz de mover unos motores hidráulicos o neumáticos. Este dispositivo precisa energía externa para direccionar unas compuertas hacia el oleaje, y el sistema piñón-cremallera pierde bastante energía.
No conocemos en el estado actual de la técnica ningún conversor de energía que permita aprovechar casi toda la energía del oleaje marino, mediante un brazo articulado por un extremo a un flotador y por el otro a unos elementos mecánicos, consiguiendo aprovechar el movimiento del brazo tanto en su subida como en su bajada, según lo hace el conversor de energía de la presente invención.
DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN Para lograr los objetivos y evitar los inconvenientes indicados en anteriores apartados, la invención consiste en un conversor de energía que cuenta con un flotador asociado a elementos mecánicos cuyo movimiento, debido al oleaje del mar, es transmitido al eje de un alternador, transduciéndose en energía eléctrica inyectable en una red de alta tensión o para consumo propio.
Novedosamente, según la invención, dichos elementos mecánicos consisten en un brazo articulado por un extremo al flotador y rematado por su otro extremo en un arco dentado, el cual presenta dos líneas paralelas de agarre, siendo opuestos los sentidos de agarre de cada línea; engranando a su vez cada línea con una rueda dentada que cambia el movimiento lineal en circular de un solo sentido, cada una en el opuesto de la otra, para después sumar y transmitir el giro, ya en un único sentido, a una serie de engranajes y cajas de cambios que llevan el movimiento hasta el alternador, el cual cuenta con un volante de inercia para darle estabilidad.
Según las realizaciones preferentes de la invención, el flotador está sujeto a tierra mediante una estructura paralelográmica con barras en "H", presentando esas barras
articulaciones en los extremos; una articulación en el flotador y otra/s en la parte opuesta que gira respecto de una base en tierra.
El referido brazo o vastago puede constituirse mediante una pieza enteriza y también mediante dos piezas articuladas en forma de paralelogramo que determinan las aludidas líneas paralelas de agarre del correspondiente arco dentado .
Por otra parte el flotador puede estar anclado a tierra, o bien a una plataforma sujeta al fondo marino pero situada dentro del mar (plataforma petrolífera) , o en un medio flotador (barco) que realice las funciones de base.
Las referidas ruedas dentadas iniciales, según las realizaciones preferentes de la invención, están dispuestas en trinquete, incorporándose varios martillos o uñates distribuidos de forma que posibiliten aprovechar el movimiento lineal que llega.
El conversor de la invención puede disponer de ruedas dentadas fijas en distribución rueda/piñón y caja multiplicadora de muítiengranaje o móvil que se adecúe manual o automáticamente, a través de un sistema eléctrico, electrónico, informático, hidráulico, neumático, mecánico o similar, al tamaño de las olas del mar en tiempo real.
El conversor de la invención puede dimensionarse para pequeñas instalaciones caseras de baja tensión o para medias o grandes plantas generadoras de electricidad en alta tensión.
El referido volante de inercia puede contar con un motor auxiliar de arranque. Con la estructura que se ha descrito, el conversor de energía de la invención presenta ventajas relativas a que es totalmente ecológico, empleando una energía renovable e inagotable como es la del oleaje, sin gastos energéticos previos y sin contaminación medioambiental, presentando además un escaso impacto visual o ambiental.
En el conversor de energía de la invención se han evaluado varios parámetros tales como las mareas con diferencia de altura entre pleamar y bajamar, altura máxima del oleaje que pueda darse en condiciones de temporal o de tormentas graves, lo cual condiciona la forma y longitud del brazo principal que sujeta el elemento flotador, dimensionándose después el tamaño del arco dentado que inicia los movimientos circulares transmitidos a los elementos mecánicos. Para determinar el tamaño del flotador debe tenerse en cuenta la potencia que se pretende sacar en cada caso, y la altura mínima que presenten las olas en condiciones de mar tranquila, con oleaje mínimo.
Por otra parte, según el dispositivo de la invención, se transforma casi al cien por cien el movimiento del oleaje en un movimiento circular completo que una vez adaptado al generador de electricidad, cuyo volante de inercia elimina picos y armónicos indeseables, proporciona una energía limpia.
A continuación, para facilitar una mejor comprensión de esta memoria descriptiva y formando parte integrante de la misma, se acompañan unas figuras en las que con carácter ilustrativo y no limitativo se ha representado el objeto de la invención.

DESCRIPCIÓN DE UNO O VARIOS EJEMPLOS DE REALIZACIÓN DE LA
INVENCIÓN
Seguidamente se realiza una descripción de dos ejemplos de la invención haciendo referencia a la numeración adoptada en las figuras.
Así, en la primera realización de la invención, el conversor de energía correspondiente cuenta con un flotador 1 asociado a unos elementos mecánicos, cuyo movimiento debido al oleaje del mar 10 es transmitido al eje de un alternador 9, transduciéndose en energía eléctrica inyectable en una red de alta tensión 13, tal como se puede apreciar en la figura 1. El alternador 9 cuenta con un volante de inercia 11 provisto de un motor auxiliar de arranque 12. Esos elementos mecánicos consisten en un brazo 2 articulado por un extremo al flotador 1 y rematado por su otro extremo por un arco dentado 5 que presenta dos líneas paralelas de agarre, siendo opuestos los sentidos de agarre de dichas dos líneas, según se representa también en la figura 2.
Dichas dos líneas de agarre 5 engranan su transmisión del giro con respectivas coronas o ruedas dentadas 6 dispuestas en trinquete, cada una en un sentido opuesto respecto a la otra, unidireccionando cada una en un sentido gracias a unos martillos o uñates 15 dispuestos en unos discos 14, para seguidamente, sumar ambos únicos sentidos a través de dos ruedas adyacentes 16 ó directamente sobre un eje común 17, consiguiendo el primer movimiento circular.
Las coronas iniciales o ruedas dentadas 6 transmiten un lentísimo pero potente giro a varias ruedas dentadas o engranajes 7 dispuestas en rueda-piñón en una disposición fija y potente capaz de multiplicar unas trescientas veces su inicial régimen de giro.
Habiendo alcanzado varios centenares de revoluciones por minuto, procede estabilizar el giro que llegue
finalmente al alternador 9, el cual suele diseñarse para trabajar a 1.500 ó 3.000 revoluciones por minuto. El mar no presenta esa estabilidad, y habrá días de olas pequeñas y días de olas grandes que aumentan la altura de las olas hasta 15 veces (en el mar Mediterráneo van de los 0,2 metros a los 3 metros aproximadamente, mientras que en el Cantábrico y el Atlántico van de los 0,4 metros a los 6 metros en temporal) . Por ello se establece una caja multiplicadora que engrane su mecanismo interno acoplando en cada momento el piñón adecuado (caja de cambios 8) que permita aumentar hasta veinte veces más la velocidad de entrada.
Con la estructura descrita, es aprovechada la fuerza del mar en la subida a través del brazo 2, así como el peso o masa del flotador 1 en la bajada.
En esta primera realización, el flotador 1 cuenta con medios de sujeción 3 a tierra, constituidos por unas barras en "H" con dos zonas extremas de articulación en el flotador 1 y con dos zonas de articulación en extremos opuestos a los anteriores para conectar con una base fijada en tierra 4, según se aprecia en la figura 1.
La segunda realización de la invención, mostrada en la figura 3 es análoga a la primera, diferenciándose de ella en que el correspondiente brazo 2a se constituye en este caso, mediante dos piezas articuladas en forma de paralelogramo, según se ilustra en la figura 3, determinando cada una de ellas una de las dos referidas líneas paralelas de agarre del correspondiente arco dentado 5a. En las realizaciones preferentes de la invención, el tamaño medio descrito es para un generador de 100 Kilovatios hora, pudiendo adecuarse a mayores potencias, así como a menores (para uso casero con un flotador de 1 m2 en olas de 30 centímetros arriba por 30 cm abajo cada seis segundos, se puede obtener 3,3 Kilovatios hora en sus
mínimos movimientos) .
En otras realizaciones se plantea un flotador de 4 x 5 metros (20 m2) con una altura de 1,2 metros y una masa
(lastre) de 2000 kg. Para estabilizar el flotador dentro de un recorrido previsto, se ancla a tierra mediante la referida estructura articulada en "H". El brazo 2, ó 2a puede presentar una longitud de 10 metros y el arco dentado
5 ó 5a un radio de dos metros .
Este arco 5 ó 5a ataca a unas ruedas dentadas dispuestas opuestamente en trinquete y con un sistema muy óptimo de martillos direccionales dispuestos de forma correlativa micrométricamente para garantizar la transmisión de prácticamente todo el movimiento que llegue, por mínimo que sea . Conseguido el movimiento circular en un único sentido, procede aumentar la pequeña velocidad obtenida, para lo cual se dispone de varias ruedas dentadas en estructuras de ruedas fijas, a ser posible de gran tamaño debido a la elevada potencia que se concentra en los primeros movimientos.
Aseguradas unas trescientas revoluciones por minuto en momentos de olas mínimas, se dispone de un sistema de engranaje multiplicador móvil que posibilita acoplar el desarrollo adecuado al momento que se tenga. Para ello, en caso mínimo debe elevar las 300 revoluciones por minuto a las especificaciones del generador (normalmente 1500 ó 3000 revoluciones por minuto) . Pero en casos de oleaje fuerte las olas de tres metros provocan que la velocidad entregada por las ruedas fijas haya pasado de 300 a 3000 revoluciones por minuto y que por tanto el desarrollo que deba presentar el engranaje sea de 1:1 pasando los giros de ahí al generador productor de electricidad.
El mando del mecanismo que gobierne y controle el adecuado desarrollo del engranaje móvil puede ser por medio
manual, eléctrico, electrónico o informático.
El dispositivo descrito presenta una enorme presión
(fuerza) potencial para arrancar, (y en movimientos bruscos) , que llega en cadena hasta el citado generador o alternador, por lo que procede auxiliar mediante un dispositivo unido al eje final con un sistema excluyente para casos de emergencias, que en condiciones normales haga de volante de inercia, estabilizando el régimen de giro final, evitando picos u armónicos en la red. Este volante de inercia se puede controlar con un motor adicional auxiliar para imprimir arranque inicial al dispositivo, o para frenarlo cuando proceda, pudiendo ser su mecanismo de mando de tipo manual, eléctrico, electrónico o informático.

REIVINDICACIONES
1,- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, que cuenta con un flotador
(1) asociado a elementos mecánicos cuyo movimiento, debido al oleaje del mar (10) es transmitido al eje de un alternador (9) , transduciéndose en energía eléctrica inyectable en una red de alta tensión (13), ó para consumo propio; caracterizándose porque dichos elementos mecánicos consisten en un brazo (2, 2a) articulado por un extremo al flotador (1) y rematado por su otro extremo en un arco dentado (5, 5a) el cual presenta dos líneas paralelas de agarre, siendo opuestos los sentidos de agarre de cada línea, engranando a su vez cada línea con una rueda dentada (6) que cambia el movimiento lineal en circular de un sólo sentido, cada una en el opuesto de la otra, para después sumar y transmitir el giro ya en un único sentido a una serie de engranajes (7) y cajas de cambio (8) que llevan el movimiento hasta el alternador (9) , el cual cuenta con un volante de inercia (11) para darle estabilidad.
2.- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque dicho flotador (1) está sujeto a tierra (4) mediante una estructura paralelográmica mediante barras "H" (3) , presentando dichas barras articulaciones en los extremos; una articulación en el flotador (1) y otra/s en la parte opuesta que gira respecto de una base en tierra (4) .
3.- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque dicho brazo (2) se constituye como pieza enteriza.
4.- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque dicho brazo se constituye mediante dos piezas articuladas en forma de paralelogramo (2a) , determinando cada una de ellas una de las dos referidas líneas paralelas de agarre del correspondiente arco dentado
(5a) .
5.- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque el flotador (1) puede estar anclado a tierra (4) , ó bien a una plataforma sujeta al fondo marino pero situada dentro del mar (plataforma petrolífera) , o en un medio flotador (barco) que realice las funciones de base .
6.- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque las ruedas dentadas (6) iniciales están dispuestas entre trinquete, incorporándose varios martillos o uñates (15) , distribuidos de forma que posibilitan aprovechar el movimiento lineal que llega.
7,- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, según una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizado porque dicho conversor cuenta con ruedas dentadas en distribución rueda- piñón y caja multiplicadora de multiengranaje o móvil que se adecúa manual o automáticamente, a través de un sistema eléctrico, electrónico, informático, hidráulico, neumático, mecánico o similar, al tamaño de las olas del mar en tiempo real .
8.- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, según una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones anteriores, caracterizado porque se dimensiona para pequeñas instalaciones caseras de baja tensión o para medias o grandes plantas generadoras de electricidad en alta tensión.
9.- CONVERSOR DE ENERGÍA, según la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque dicho volante de inercia (11) cuenta con un motor auxiliar de arranque (12) .
