Abstract

　画像データ形成部は、尺骨と橈骨を含む画像の画像データを形成し、画像データ識別部１６は、画像データ内において骨に対応した画像部分と軟部組織に対応した画像部分とを識別する。分離線設定部２０は、識別された画像データに基づいて尺骨と橈骨に挟まれた骨間軟部組織に対応する画像部分を通る分離線を設定し、骨画像分離部２２は、分離線に基づいて骨に対応した画像部分を２つに分離することにより尺骨を含む画像部分を抽出する。茎状突起特定部２４は、尺骨を含む画像部分の形状に基づいて尺骨茎状突起を特定する。
