Abstract

 本発明は、光学素子として好適な屈折率、透明性を有し、且つ温度に対する屈折率変化が極めて小さく、しかも成型性と耐熱性に優れた光学用樹脂材料及びそれを用いた光学素子を提供する。この光学用樹脂材料は、ホスト樹脂材料中に、異なる2種以上の無機酸化物が均一に混合されている非晶質の無機微粒子を含む光学用樹脂材料において、該無機微粒子は平均粒子径が1nm以上、50nm以下であって、ホスト樹脂材料中に均一に分散され、かつ、これら分散された無機微粒子の屈折率のばらつき(標準偏差σ)が0.01以下であることを特徴とする。
