Abstract
ラベルスイッチングネットワークにおいて、通常時には、主系エッジノード装置と対向エッジノード装置の間に設定された保護対象ラベルスイッチングパスを用いてパケット転送が行われる。そして、主系エッジノード装置の障害時には、従系エッジノード装置が主系エッジノード装置からラベルスイッチングパスセッションを引き継いで、保護対象ラベルスイッチングパスの始点ノードまたは終点ノードとして動作し、バックアップラベルスイッチングパスを用いてパケット転送を継続する。
