Abstract

Capteur (10) de position absolue à lecture série comportant au moins un détecteur (3) apte à détecter les transitions d'un motif cible(2) présent sur un organe mobile (1) par rapport audit détecteur (3). Il se caractérise en ce qu'il comporte un registre à décalage apte à enregistrer un nombre prédéterminé d'informations successives issues du dit détecteur (3), et des moyens pour comparer la valeur (5) dudit registre par rapport à un ensemble (6) de valeurs prédéterminées correspondant chacune à une position du détecteur (3) par rapport au motif cible (2).
