Abstract

A packaging container (1) comprises plastic casings (10, 20) for containing an article to be packaged and shock absorbing members (40) fixed to the casing (10, 20) and each thereof having a multilayer structure. The packaging container is characterized in that the multilayer structure includes a first elastic member (41) for preventing the shock absorbing member (40) from being deformed and a second elastic member (45) which is provided on the side of first elastic member (41) opposite to the article side and absorbs the vibration transmitted to the casings (10, 20) and in that the length of the first elastic member (41) in the laminating direction of the multilayer structure is longer than the length of the second elastic member (45) in the laminating direction of the multilayer structure.
