Abstract

 階層変調多重通信における受信特性を向上する、マルチキャリア送信装置、及び、マルチキャリア受信装置。遠方ユーザ宛の変調信号及びそれと異なる変調多値数で変調された近傍ユーザ宛の変調信号が重畳されたマルチキャリア信号を送信する基地局装置(100)では、DFT部(120)が遠方ユーザ宛の変調信号をシンボルごとに周波数領域で分離し、S/P部(125)が近傍ユーザ宛の変調信号を直並列変換してN1個のパラレル信号を形成し、合成部(145)がDFT部(120)にて得られたN1個の周波数成分と、前記N1個のパラレル信号とを合成する。遠方ユーザでは、IDFT処理することで他方の変調信号を白色雑音化できるので、自身宛の信号を精度良く復調できる。近傍ユーザでは、干渉信号である遠方ユーザ宛信号を受信信号から減算することで、自身宛の信号を精度良く得ることができる。
