Abstract

L'invention concerne un radiateur à gaz qui comprend au moins un brûleur principal (1) et un brûleur pilote (2), ledit brûleur pilote (2) garantissant l'allumage du brûleur principal (1), et qui est caractérisé par le fait que ledit brûleur pilote (2) est un brûleur à rayonnement infrarouge. Ledit brûleur pilote (2) de rayonnement infrarouge comprend, de préférence, un tube Venturi (10) placé entre un injecteur de gaz (8) et une chambre de combustion (11). Il permet une grande stabilité de l'allumage dans des conditions de courants d'air, une consommation inférieure à celle d'un pilote traditionnel, et une résistance supérieure contre la poussière, la saleté et des conditions environnementales préjudiciables.
