  • the nozzle mounting means 80 comprises a first rail means 80 mounted on the broom shroud 60 and a co-operating first track means 84 movabry mounted on the rail means. More specifically, in the preferred embodiment as illustrated, the nozzle mounting means comprises a first rail means 8 0 operatively mounted on the broom shroud 60. More specifically, the first rail means 80 comprises a substantially horizontal first left rail 80a and a substantially horizontal first right rail 80b. The horizontal left rail 80a is mounted on the left wall of the broom shroud 60 and the horizontal right rail 80b is mounted on the right wall ofme broom shroud 60 and are substantially parallel one to the other. Strictly speaking, the right rail 80b is hidden from view in figures by the left rail 80a.

  • Other variations of the above principles will be apparent to those who are knowledgeable in the field of the invention, and such variations are considered to be within the scope of the present invention. Further, other modifications and alterations may be used in the design and manufacture of the sweeping broom apparatus of the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the accompanying claims.

Abstract

L'invention concerne une balayeuse comprenant un corps principale doté d'une admission de débris, et une enveloppe de balai dotée d'un fond ouvert et d'un balai principal monté à l'intérieur de l'enveloppe de balai pour propulser les débris vers l'avant à partir de la surface en cours de nettoyage, ce qui crée un flux de débris propulsé en avant par la sortie de débris tournée vers l'avant. Un ensemble buse à soufflage d'air est doté d'une telle buse raccordée en communication fluidique à une source d'air sous pression pour en recevoir de l'air sous pression. L'invention concerne une installation de buse à soufflage d'air destinée à émettre de l'air vers l'avant et vers le bas, dans un rapport mobile sur l'enveloppe de balai en vue de son déplacement vers une position choisie parmi une pluralité de positions visées, la sortie de la buse à soufflage d'air étant contiguë à la zone de contact du balai principal.
