Abstract

Disclosed is a polyurea resin composition for forming an organic piezoelectric and pyroelectric film having excellent piezoelectric and pyroelectric properties. Also disclosed is an organic piezoelectric and pyroelectric film formed by using the polyurea resin composition. Further disclosed is a method for producing the organic piezoelectric and pyroelectric film. The polyurea resin composition comprises a polyurea compound having a dipole-constituting moiety or moieties in the molecule, wherein the dipole moment (D) of the dipole-constituting moiety or moieties and the molecular weight (Ma) per one dipole-constituting moiety meet the relationship represented by the formula (1): Formula (1): D/Ma ≥ 0.02; wherein Ma = M/N wherein M represents an average molecular weight of the polyurea resin composition; and N represents an average number of the dipole-constituting moiety or moieties contained in one molecule of the polyurea compound.
