Abstract

【課題】従来のベータ線検出器と比較して広いエネルギー領域にてベータ線の高い検出効率を一様に実現し、かつエネルギー分解能も高めることができるベータ線検出器とベータ線再構築方法を提供する。 【解決手段】ベータ線を放出する被検体に対向して位置しベータ線の透過性が高くかつ吸収確率が高い吸収物質からなる吸収用シンチレータ12と、吸収用シンチレータの背面に位置しベータ線の透過性が低くかつ後方散乱率が高い後方散乱物質からなる後方散乱用シンチレータ14と、2種のシンチレータにおいて同時計測したベータ線のエネルギー吸収量を合算し被検体から放出されたベータ線のエネルギーと検出位置を再構築するエネルギー検出装置16とを備える。
