Abstract

【課題】 簡単且つ安価な構成で、垂直方向に十分な駆動力および耐荷重が得られ、しかも変位の方向付けが行える電歪アクチュエータを提供すること。 【解決手段】 基材13の両面に、一対の対向電極11、12をそれぞれ接合し、一方の対向電極11に形成した開口穴11a内にゲル状のエラストマからなる充填材14が充填されている。一対の対向電極11,12間に所定の電圧を印加すると、開口穴11aの寸法が収縮変形し、開口穴11a内に充填されていたゲル状のエラストアが外に押し出され、大きな駆動力および耐荷重を得ることができる。
