Abstract
従来の光信号処理装置では、集光レンズを空間光路のほぼ中間点に備えた共焦点光学系を構成するので、空間光学系の距離が長い。このため、装置全体を小型化することが難しかった。また、光信号処理装置の製造時における調整加工に高い精度が必要であり、さらに装置や製造方法のコストが高いという問題点があった。本発明の光信号処理装置は、共焦点光学系とは異なるレンズ配置構成とすることで、空間光学系の長さを大幅に短縮化する。信号処理素子のごく近傍に配置された第1の集光レンズと分光素子近傍に配置された第2の集光レンズからなり、分光素子と信号処理素子間の距離は、概ね第1の集光レンズの焦点距離となる。従来技術と比べ光路長を半分に短縮できる。第2の集光レンズの機能は集光作用を持ったAWGに含めることができる。
