Abstract

Manufacturing cost is reduced by reducing the component cost and the burden of assembling work, and the hinge structure is made compact. The folding apparatus (10) is constituted of a first case and a second case rotatable through a hinge structure having a rotating shaft (13) fixed to the first case and a portion fixed to the second case and supporting the rotating shaft rotatably. The supporting portion consists of an integral resilient member elongating toward the rotating shaft and having a pair of resilient supporting arms (11x, 11y) forked on the tip side. The pair of resilient supporting arms have arcuate supporting inner surfaces (11xa, 11ya) opposing each other and supporting the rotating shaft rotatably. A protrusion (11p) formed on any one of the outer circumferential surface or the supporting inner surface of the rotating shaft and a protrusion formed on the other can be fitted in one or a plurality of recesses (13b, 13c).
