Abstract

A bending tube of an endoscope comprises circular nodal rings. Each nodal ring includes two hinges symmetrically formed with respect to the center axis of the nodal ring and used for rotatably connecting the nodal ring to the adjacent nodal ring, a discontinuous part formed on the nodal ring at least at one position in the circumferential direction, and a chamfered part formed by chamfering the end part formed by press-working.
