Abstract

L'invention concerne un équipement de test pour tester un dispositif de communication sans fil comprenant un émetteur-récepteur sans fil, une mémoire et une unité de commande. L'émetteur-récepteur sans fil transmet une première et une seconde série de paquets. L'émetteur-récepteur sans fil reçoit un indicateur de niveau de puissance qui est basé sur au moins l'un de la première série de paquets. La mémoire stocke l'indicateur de niveau de puissance. L'unité de commande effectue un test d'intensité de signal. Plus spécifiquement, l'unité de commande commande l'émetteur-récepteur pour qu'il transmette la première série de paquets à un premier niveau de puissance. L'unité de commande stocke l'indicateur de niveau de puissance en mémoire lorsque l'indicateur de niveau de puissance est reçu par l'émetteur-récepteur. L'unité de commande commande l'émetteur-récepteur pour qu'il transmette la seconde série de paquets à un second niveau de puissance.
