Abstract

 複数のセクタを含むセルを複数個含む移動通信システムで使用される基地局装置が使用される。基地局装置は、ユーザ装置のセルサーチに使用される同期チャネルを生成する手段と、同期チャネルを含む信号を無線送信する手段とを有する。同期チャネルは一次同期チャネルと二次同期チャネルとを有する。一次同期チャネルは複数種類の系列を有し、或るセルの或るセクタで送信される二次同期チャネルは、該一次同期チャネルに対応する所定の生成多項式から導出された符合を含む。
