Abstract

A resin composition that is transparent, having a high refractive index and that can be formed into a film-shaped optical member; and a film-shaped optical member utilizing the same. The resin composition comprises a metallic highly refractive intermediate (A) and a polymer or oligomer (B) and/or a reactive monomer (C), wherein the component (A) is obtained by mixing a titanium alkoxide, an aminoalcohol and water together and conducting hydrolytic reaction thereof, and wherein a portion of the component (B) and/or component (C) contains both an epoxy group and an acrylic group in each molecule. Further, there is provided a film-shaped optical member prepared utilizing the resin composition.
