Abstract
L'invention concerne un dispositif pour limiter le chevauchement d'un véhicule ferroviaire (1) sur un autre véhicule ferroviaire (10) dans le cas d'une collision. À cet effet, on dispose sur une plaque de base (2) du véhicule ferroviaire (1), à proximité du côté frontal du véhicule ferroviaire (1), un composant (4) pour coopérer avec l'extrémité frontale d'une plaque de base (8) de l'autre véhicule ferroviaire (10) en cas de collision. Conformément à l'invention, le composant (4) est orienté suivant un certain angle par rapport au plan de la plaque de base (2) et est réalisé sous forme de biseau tourné vers le côté frontal du véhicule ferroviaire (1), pour entailler dans l'extrémité frontale de la plaque de base (8) de l'autre véhicule ferroviaire (10) en cas de collision. On évite un chevauchement en transformant l'énergie cinétique supplémentaire par cet effet d'entaille.
