Abstract

[PROBLEMS] A self-steering platform car having good curve passage performance. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The self-steering vehicle has a basic framework composed of a main frame (1) having a rectangular frame shape in a plan view, and of sub-frames (2) arranged in front of and behind the main frame (1). Shafts (4, 4) of left and right drive wheels (3, 3) are rotatably supported on the main frame (1) via shaft boxes (5, 5). The sub-frames (2) are each constructed from left and right rocking arms (6, 6) supported in a horizontal plane at their base ends by the main frame (1), and from a connection link (7) for interconnecting front endsof the rocking arms (6, 6). The length of the connection link (7) is same as the distance between the base ends of the rocking arms (6, 6), and the main frame (1) and each sub-frame (2) form a parallelogram link.
