記録装置(1)は、記録媒体(100)にデータパターンを記録する記録手段(11)と、記録を中断する第1制御手段(22)と、記録を中断する直前に記録されたデータパターンを読み取ることで読取信号を取得する読取手段(11)と、読取信号のジッタを測定する測定手段(19)と、ジッタが所望の条件を満たすように記録条件を調整する調整手段(21)と、調整された記録条件を用いてデータパターンの記録を再開する第2制御手段(22)とを備える。
