Therefore, during assembly of the half-assembled packets IA, IB the contents and the partition are inserted during the assembly process prior to combining the two half-assembled packets IA, IB.
  • the packets described herein, for example as shown in Figure 1 are closer to a square cross-section than conventional hinged-lid packets. This can lead to more rigidity and protection of the enclosed product. It may also be feasible to reduce the amount card required to make the blank.
  • the lid arrangement of Figure 1 avoids any problems with interference between the lid and the body of the pack (which might potentially arise if a conventional lid mechanism were to be used with a much fatter packet arrangement).

Abstract

L'invention concerne un paquet (1) pour article à fumer et une ébauche ou un ensemble d'ébauches (BR, BL, PB) pour la réalisation dudit paquet (1). Le paquet (1) comprend un emballage (11) qui comprend une face avant (HA), une face arrière (HB) et des première et seconde faces latérales opposées (HD, HE). Le paquet (1) comprend également un premier couvercle (3) et un second couvercle (5). Le premier couvercle (3) est fixé par une première charnière à la première face latérale (HD) et le second couvercle (5) est fixé par une seconde charnière à la première face latérale (HD) ou à la seconde face latérale (HE). L'axe de la première charnière et l'axe de la seconde charnière sont parallèles l'un par rapport à l'autre. Lorsque le premier couvercle (3) est fermé, la face arrière (HB) et au moins une partie de la seconde face latérale (HE) s'emboîtent dans le premier couvercle (3). Lorsque le second couvercle (5) est fermé, la face avant (HB) et au moins une partie de la face latérale (HD ; HE) opposée à la seconde charnière s'emboîtent dans le second couvercle (5).
