Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système d'administration d'une solution aqueuse à base d'une substance biologique et d'un médicament comprenant une seringue et une aiguille. Un ajutage profilé relie la seringue à l'aiguille et réduit la force de piston nécessaire pour expulser la solution hors de l'aiguille. Un transducteur à ultrasons génère des impulsions et des ondes de pression acoustique dans la solution. La force de radiation acoustique du champ acoustique aligne les particules dans la solution dans la direction de l'axe de la seringue et facilite l'expulsion. Aussi, la force de radiation acoustique modifie la forme de la substance biologique et du médicament en formes allongées, de ce fait réduisant la force d'expulsion nécessaire. En outre, l'excitation vibratoire de la substance biologique et du médicament par le champ d'ultrasons facilite l'expulsion de la solution. Des impulsions de forte pression peuvent délivrer des gouttes de la solution hors de l'ouverture de l'aiguille. Un capteur peut être utilisé pour exercer une régulation afin de permettre qu'une force constante soit opérée sur le système.
