Abstract

　監視カメラ装置（１）は、チルト方向に回動可能なカメラ（３）と、カメラ（３）を覆うカメラカバー（４）と、カメラカバー（４）に設けられた二つの平面窓カバー（１３、１４）を備える。二つの平面窓カバー（１３、１４）の各々は、カメラ（３）で撮影可能な全チルト角範囲内に設定された二つの部分チルト角範囲に対応する二つの角度にそれぞれ配置される。カメラ（３）のチルト角に応じて二つの平面窓カバー（１３、１４）を切替えて、カメラ（３）のチルト角に対応する部分チルト角範囲の平面窓カバー（１３、１４）を撮影用の平面窓カバーとして用いる。これにより、カメラ画像の画質が高く、設計や製造が容易であり製造コストを低く抑えることのできる監視カメラ装置が提供される。
