Abstract
A disk drive control unit carries out the first rotation control processing of, as an open processing for disk tray (50), rotating moving gear (63) leftward so as to move the disk tray (50) to an open completion position and, after the first rotation control processing, the second rotation control processing of rotating the moving gear (63) rightward. Accordingly, the disk tray (50) having tilted to the right of case body at the completion of the first rotation control processing can be shifted to the state of tilting to the left side by execution of the second rotation control processing. Therefore, even when the moving gear (63) is rotated rightward at the start of close processing, there is no generation of change along the tilt direction of the disk tray (50) accompanying this rotation, and any occurrence of rolling at the movement of the disk tray (50) to a close completion position can be inhibited.
