Abstract

As residual fibers occurring in the purification of palm oil from palm/coconut are long and strong, the phenomenon that fibers are formed into blocks and cause clogging at the discharge to the subsequent step is likely to be experienced. There has been the problem that even when the torque of spiral rotary blade assembly is increased to resolve any twining of fibers around the spiral rotary blade assembly, the rotation is stopped to thereby necessitate removing of reclaimed material having twined around the spiral rotary blade assembly and re-operation thereof. The paper stock preparing apparatus using palm/coconut as raw material is adapted to carry out cutting of residual fibers occurring in the purification of palm oil from palm/coconut to a length of 2.5 to 3.0 cm by means of a cutter, adding of a small amount of water to the cut residual fibers followed by incorporation in a crude crusher to thereby effect crude crushing, impregnating of the crudely crushed residual fibers as a raw material with an alkali agent while adding an appropriate amount of alkali agent and high-concentration mixing by a high-concentration cooking equipment with kneading edge and spiral rotary blade assembly capable of continuous high-concentration cooking to thereby attain agitation, washing, compression, dewatering, heat generation, crushing and pressure feeding.
