Abstract

　本発明は、エストロゲン応答遺伝子であるＣＯＸ７ＲＰ遺伝子及びＥｆｐ遺伝子の少なくともいずれかを標的とし、これらの遺伝子の発現を抑制することにより、子宮癌、乳癌、及び膀胱癌の癌細胞の増殖を効果的に抑制することが可能なｓｉＲＮＡ等の二本鎖核酸分子、並びに癌細胞増殖抑制剤及び医薬を提供することを目的とする。即ち本発明は、（ａ）配列番号：１～配列番号：３８のいずれかの標的配列に対応するヌクレオチド配列を有するセンス鎖と、（ｂ）前記（ａ）のセンス鎖に相補的なヌクレオチド配列を有するアンチセンス鎖とを含む、ＣＯＸ７ＲＰ遺伝子及びＥｆｐ遺伝子の少なくともいずれかの発現を抑制するための二本鎖核酸分子；前記二本鎖核酸分子を含む子宮癌細胞、乳癌細胞、及び膀胱癌細胞の少なくともいずれかに対する癌細胞増殖抑制剤；並びに、前記癌細胞増殖抑制剤を含む子宮癌、乳癌、及び膀胱癌の少なくともいずれかに対する医薬に関する。
