Abstract
本発明は、各種排水や汚濁水等の処理対象水中の有機物、及び窒素を効率的に低減することができ、かつコスト性に優れた水の浄化方法を提供することを目的とする。即ち、本発明は、処理対象水を、木片等の植物系資材と接触させて浄化することを特徴とする水の浄化方法、及び水の浄化装置に関する。本発明は、木片等の植物系資材から溶出する有機物を、窒素除去に必要な有機物の供給源として利用できること等に着目したものであり、容易に、かつ安価に入手可能な木片等を用いて、効率的に水の浄化を行うことができる点で優れている。
