Abstract

Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von 1,2-Dichlorethan, wobei man a) Ethen, Chlorwasserstoff und Sauerstoff in einen Oxichlorierungsreaktor einspeist und zu einem Produktgasstrom umsetzt, der 1,2-Dichlorethan, nicht umgesetztes Ethen und Kohlendioxid enthält, b) von dem Produktgasstrom 1,2-Dichlorethan abtrennt, wobei ein Ethen enthaltenes Abgas zurückbleibt, c) das Abgas zumindest teilweise verwertet, indem man es in den Oxichlorierungsreaktor zurückführt und/oder einer Ethenverbrauchenden chemischen Umsetzung, insbesondere einer Direktchlorierung, zuführt, wobei man d) den Produktgasstrom und/oder das Abgas zur Entfernung von Kohlendioxid mit einem flüssigen Absorptionsmittel in Kontakt bringt, das eine wässrige Lösung wenigstens eines Amins, einer Aminocarbonsäure, eines Aminocarbonsäuresalzes, einer Aminosulfonsäure, eines Aminosulfonsäuresalzes oder eines Gemisches davon umfasst. Das Verfahren gestattet eine effiziente Nutzung des eingesetzten Ethens.
